Bad Bunny is ready to break records in Latin America, Europe, and Australia with his Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour, after generating hundreds of millions of dollars with the sale of 2.6 million tickets, according to data provided to Billboard by promoter Live Nation. “Bad Bunny is having incredible success without the need for a crossover [musical]. In fact, it is the audience – millions of people around the world – who are crossing over to him,” says Hans Schafer, senior vice president of global tours at Live Nation, which is co-promoting the 54-date tour with Rimas Nation. Schafer points out that the superstar will be the first Spanish-speaking artist to perform a stadium concert in seven of the countries he will visit on the tour, which begins on November 21 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and ends on July 22 in Brussels, Belgium.
The new tour is set to break the records that Bad Bunny had already established in 2022, when he became the first Latin artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard Year-End Boxscore Top Tours list, generating $373.5 million with the sale of 1.8 million tickets in 65 shows. Thanks to the enormous demand for tickets, what started as a 24-date tour last week has turned into a series of 54 shows in 18 countries. Bad Bunny expanded his visit to Mexico City from two to eight concerts at the GNP Seguros Stadium. In South America, he added more dates in Medellín, Colombia; Santiago, Chile; and Buenos Aires, going from one show to three in each market. And in Madrid, he expanded his plans from two concerts to an impressive 10 shows at the 70,000-capacity Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium.
Bad Bunny is playing two nights in almost every stop on his tour and is breaking new records in almost every market. He is the first and only Latin artist to sell out a stadium concert in Australia and became the only artist in Colombia’s history to sell out three stadiums in 24 hours. He broke the record for the fastest ticket sales in Costa Rica’s history, and in Mexico, he broke the record for the most tickets sold in a single day by any artist.
The superstar now holds the record for the most tickets sold by a Latin artist in France, Italy, Poland, Portugal, and Sweden. And with 12 stadium concerts scheduled for Spain – including two in Barcelona – he now holds the record for the largest concert series performed by an artist in the country, with 600,000 tickets sold. He has also become the first artist to sell out two consecutive nights at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.
Bad Bunny’s success on this tour is a testament to his global appeal and the power of his music to transcend language barriers. He has become a trailblazer for Latin artists, breaking records and paving the way for future generations. With his electrifying performances and chart-topping hits, Bad Bunny is proving that he is not just a Latin artist, but a global superstar. And with the overwhelming demand for tickets to his Debí Tirar Más Fotos tour, it’s clear that the world is ready for more of Bad Bunny’s music and his groundbreaking live shows.
