They are smaller, but no less important. They are also part of our culture.” Meanwhile, the State government and the Baja California Prosecutor’s Office continue to work on the investigation of the threat against the band. The cancellation of the March 1 concert as part of the Mazatlán Carnival was the result of the discovery of an alleged narcomanta and a human head in a box on February 25 in Tijuana, a fact confirmed to Billboard Español by the State Prosecutor’s Office of Baja California. So far, there have been four arrests in the case, Excelsior TV reported, citing the prosecutor’s office. “We appreciate the support of the authorities who have been attentive since the beginning,” Caz added. “We cannot provide more details to avoid interfering with the investigations.” Soon, Grupo Firme will be releasing a new album in May.
