Nueva Música Latina is a compilation of the best Latin songs, albums, and videos recommended by the editors of Billboard Latin and Billboard Español. This is the selection of the week. Beéle, Marc Anthony, “Dios Me Oyó” (Hear This Music, LLC) Colombian star Beéle and salsa icon Marc Anthony join forces on this infectious afrobeats track, where the tropical and urban sound of the former blends beautifully with the romanticism of the latter, transporting us to a Caribbean love scene. “Dios me oyó, ey, Dios me oyó/ Tú ere’ agua bendita y me la tomo yo,” sings the catchy chorus. “Dios me oyó” is “a love letter” to Beéle’s roots. “I come from a family full of Colombian coastal culture. We have always been lovers of salsa and African music,” explains the 21-year-old singer and songwriter in a statement. “To now have a song with someone I grew up listening to, Marc Anthony, just makes sense. It’s more than a dream come true. It’s destiny.” Destiny or not, we couldn’t be happier about this collaboration. – SIGAL RATNER-ARIAS Ana Bárbara x Yahritza y Su Esencia, “Besos robados” (Columbia Records / Sony Music) After performing the song live at a concert, Ana Bárbara and Yahritza y Su Esencia officially release their first collaboration, “Besos robados.” With the accompaniment of emotional requintos and a deep tololoche bass, this moving track showcases the powerful voices of Ana Bárbara and Yahritza perfectly. Co-written by both artists, this melancholic sierreña song was created for those who are in love but need to let go. “Te quería a mi lado/ Pero son besos robados los que antes compartíamos tú y yo/ Mejor te digo adiós,” they passionately harmonize in the chorus. A music video, featuring Ana Bárbara with the famous group of brothers creating the song in the recording studio and snippets of their live performance, accompanies the release. – JESSICA ROIZ Código FN, “Me Gustas 1CH!NG0” (Al Millón Music) The group Código FN, known as one of the great exponents of corridos, surprises with a rhythmic cumbia norteña tejana with romantic lyrics – albeit with very current language. Written by José Ernesto León Cuén, Roberto Zamudio Ramos, and Salvador Aponte, “Me Gustas 1CH!NG0” invites you to dance from the first chords with a cadenced rhythm, a concept they have been working on since their previous single, “Cajeta,” both part of their upcoming studio album, Géminis, which is set to be released in June. With 15 years of experience, Código FN demonstrates their versatility and interest in continuing to advance in their career. – TERE AGUILERA Xavi & Netón Vega, “Hija de papi” (Interscope Records) “Hija de papi” by Xavi and Netón Vega is a fun ode to young love. The song tells the story of a girl who is used to getting everything she wants from her father, but now she has fallen for someone who is not as wealthy as her. The catchy chorus, “Hija de papi, pero tú me gustas más,” will have you singing along in no time. This track showcases the duo’s unique blend of reggaeton and pop, and is sure to be a hit on the dance floor. – JESSICA ROIZ
