The Mexican group Fuerza Regida has achieved a historic week with the release of their new album, 111XPANTIA. The project debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 (dated May 17), only behind Bad Bunny’s Debí Tirar Más Fotos, with 76,000 equivalent album units generated in the United States during its first week (May 2-8), according to data from Luminate. This achievement makes 111XPANTIA the highest-charting Spanish album by a duo or group in the history of the chart, as well as setting a new record as the highest-charting regional Mexican album on the list. This week also marks the first time in the 69-year history of the Billboard 200 that two Spanish albums occupy the top two spots.
The talent behind Fuerza Regida’s historic debut includes lead vocalist Jesús “JOP” Ortiz Paz and producers Moisés López and Meñostyle. Ortiz Paz, López, and Meñostyle hold the No. 1, 2, and 3 spots, respectively, on Billboard’s Latin Producers list, thanks to their work on the album. The group has managed to place 15 songs on the Hot Latin Songs chart, including all 12 tracks from the non-deluxe version of 111XPANTIA. (The three songs marked with an * are not part of the album).

Ortiz Paz leads the Latin Producers list thanks to his production on all 15 of the aforementioned songs, as well as “Tu tu tu” by Clave Especial and Edgardo Nuñez (No. 13). López holds the No. 2 spot, with production on 13 of the songs mentioned (he did not produce “Como capo” or “Coqueta”). Meñostyle remains at No. 3, with production on nine tracks, including “Por esos ojos,” “Peliculiando,” and “Marlboro Rojo.”
Additional collaborators on 111XPANTIA have also made an impact on Billboard’s Latin Songwriters and Latin Producers charts. Miguel Armenta ranks at No. 7 on Latin Producers (and No. 4 on Latin Songwriters) thanks to his production on six of the aforementioned songs, as well as “Vita Fer” by Los Dareyes de La Sierra and Tito Double P (No. 33 on Hot Latin Songs). Jorsshh holds the No. 3 spot on Latin Songwriters for co-writing nine songs for Fuerza Regida, while Daniel Gutiérrez ranks at No. 8 on Latin Songwriters with seven credits.
Ortiz Paz has played a key role in helping Fuerza Regida transition into the mainstream of regional Mexican music.
