At one point, Simmons pushed Krueger out of the way so he wouldn’t block the graphics behind them, before reading off the warm temperatures that local viewers would be experiencing in the coming days. Krueger then made a pun with KISS’s Billboard Hot 100 hit “Rock and Roll All Nite,” saying, “This weekend looks pretty good. people want to rock and roll all night…?” “They should party every day,” Simmons quipped. Another funny moment occurred when Krueger tried to signal the end of the segment by giving the rocker a fist bump, which led Simmons to ask, “Are you kicking me out?” “You don’t have the thing in my ear where they tell me to wrap it up, so I have to wrap it up,” Krueger responded (using the word “wrap” for “finish,” which sounds like “rap”), leading Simmons to improvise some bars. “Rap? ‘You go to 7-Eleven/ Go to heaven…’,” Simmons rapped, doing a little dance.
