Yandel is ready to take his symphonic concept on tour. The reggaeton icon announced a series of four dates in the United States that will kick off on May 30 in Miami and make stops in Orlando, New York, and Chicago. The tour will be preceded by his special Sinfónico show in San Juan, Puerto Rico on May 10, where he will be accompanied by the Puerto Rico Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Ángel “Cuco” Peña.
The Sinfónico Tour in the US, produced by Live Nation, is being presented as an “innovative live experience” with a philharmonic orchestra performing Yandel’s reggaeton hits, including “Encantadora,” “Nunca me olvides,” and “Noche de entierro,” among others. The songs will also be featured on his upcoming album Sinfónico En Vivo, set to be released on April 3.

For the shows in the United States – directed by Javier Mendoza, professor of the FIU Symphony Orchestra – Yandel will perform alongside local symphony orchestras. The musical arrangements will be handled by Rodner Padilla. The artist’s band and dancers will join each orchestra in all cities, traveling with a team of around 40 people.
The US tour follows Yandel’s October concert in Miami, where he first performed some of his hits in a classical format, a style different from the overall urban music that fuses reggaeton and symphony.
Yandel launched his solo career in 2013 after countless hits as part of the pioneering reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. He has released a total of 11 solo albums, including his most recent, ELYTE, which reached No. 15 on Billboard’s Latin Rhythm Albums chart.
